Meet The Chef
Chef Dante Martinez is the former concept Chef for "The Campground" in the historic West Bottoms in Kansas City. While there he gained accolades including "Rising Chef 2019" and "Best restaraunt K.C." From Seattle Wa, Dante Martinez is intimate with local farms and produce. Trained by James Beard award winning Chef David Day, Chef Dante has spent 20 years in the kitchen working his way through the ranks, starting as dish, going to chef, the kitchen is his home and the crew his family. Chef Dante is passionate for good food and beautiful plating, combining classic comfort foods with modernist preparations. Chef Dante is currently a student of Harvard's Food and Science curriculum.
